This year's event will start at 9:00 a.m. on Friday\, September 30\, at the Coal River Group\, 181 Pettigrew Lane\, Tornado\, WV 25177. Participants will be shuttled to the launch point on the Coal River. The tour will conclude at the Coal River Group. The YCF and Coal River Group has partnered with the WVDEP to educate participants on recent stream restoration projects that were completed to improve water quality and habitat for fish and insects. Come join your fellow CAWV members and enjoy the river and fall foliage season of West Virginia. This is the perfect time of year to tour the Coal River since the water is still fairly warm and the days are a little cooler. The event will end by 5:00 p.m. and will include lunch at Bogey's Driving Range upon completion of the river tour.
